Trailer Brakes Locking Up When Accelerating
Question:
my truck is a 2007 youkon-xl and i hook-up to a 30 foot travel trailer and the brakes lock-up,when i put my foot on thegas pedal to move forward

If your electric trailer brakes are locking up when you accelerate the brake controller may not be wired correctly so start be ensuring your controller's red wire is connected to the cold side of the stop light switch, or the wire that only shows power when you hit the brake pedal.
You can also try re-adjusting your trailer brakes manually with an adjustment spoon such as # W80630 to ensure they are properly adjusted. Also take a look at the connectors themselves and your brake wiring to make sure there are no crimped, broken or otherwise damaged wires.
