Replacement Strap for Shelby 5408 Winch
Question:
Hell I have the Shelby 5408 winch looking for a new strap mine does not have the bolt that goes through to hold winch on. It is looped through holes on side of winch and then wrapped around. What do you recommend or have to replace this? Or can I use one the attaches with a bolt? Thanks,

The winch straps we have available are designed to secure to the drum with a bolt like what you mentioned. I have not seen a strap that loops around the drum like what you have pictured. Your best bet is to simply go with a replacement strap that includes the needed bolt so you can attach it that way.
For your Shelby 5408 winch, I recommend the Dutton-Lainson 12 Foot Long Trailer Winch Strap # DL24291. This 2 inch wide, 12 foot long strap includes the needed mounting bolt and lock nut. It features a tensile strength of 3,750 pounds with the steel hook.
