Trailer Hitch Recommendation for a 2011 Nissan Juke Front Wheel Drive
Question:
I have a new 2011 Nissan Juke FWD. I would like to install a hitch for my bicycle rack to fit in and also to pull a small kayak trailer nothing larger. Is there a hitch available here that will fit a Juke that IS NOT AWD that will be sturdy, strong, and safe? If so, which one? Thanks for your help.

There is a trailer hitch designed for the front wheel drive models of the 2011 Nissan Juke. Take a look at the Curt Trailer Hitch, # C11302. This hitch is listed as a fit for front wheel drive models only. I have included a link to the installation details for you.
This is a Class I trailer hitch and with all non-trailer loads, like a bike rack, Curt requires the use of a stabilizer strap, # 18050, to be in compliance with their warranty requirements. You will also be limited to carrying 2 bikes with a Class I trailer hitch. The reason is that more than 2 bikes puts too much weight too far from the receiver and a Class I hitch cannot handle the stress. I am including a link to a video review on the Curt stabilizer strap.
Since you will be doing some towing, the hitch does come with a ball mount, pin and clip. For a ball, use # 19256 (1-7/8 inch diameter) or # 19258 (2 inch diameter). For trailer wiring, use # 118528. I have included a link to the installation details for the wiring as well.
