4-Pole Trailer Wiring Harness for 2006 Ford Escape Without Factory Tow Package
Question:
2006 ford escape The fuze box #1 for tow lights is just an empty hole , no tabs to hold the fuze. I assume the factory connection in the rear of the truck goes somewhere? Only thing i can think of to do is connect to the tail light wires. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

It sounds like you need 4-pole trailer wiring for your 2006 Ford Escape that does not have a factory tow package.
We do offer a harness # 118426 that will install at your two tail light assemblies and through a single wire connecting to your battery positive terminal. An installation video and article and linked to help you. I suggest using dielectric grease # 11755 on the connectors to protect them from corrosion.
This harness will provide all basic trailer lighting signals and will also protect your Escape's factory wiring from any risk of damage from a short-circuit on the trailer.
