Trailer Hitch and Bike Rack Recommendations for a 2008 Toyota Highlander

Question:

Will this product fit on my 2008 toyota highlander? and if not, is their another trunk rack that will? id like to avoid using a roof rack nothing but trouble. Thanks

Since you do not want to use a roof rack, the only remaining option is to use a hitch and hitch mount bike rack because there are no trunk mount racks that fit a 2008 Toyota Highlander.

A trailer hitch will also allow you the opportunity to use other accessories such as a cargo carrier in addition to towing. For a trailer hitch, I recommend the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch, # 75586. This hitch is the most popular hitch for your vehicle that also allows the use of weight distribution should you decide to tow with the vehicle.
