1-1/4 Hitch Lock for Hollywood Racks Sport Rider 2-Bike Rack

The recommended anti rattle hitch lock for this rack includes a cable, which I dont need. Im trying to find an alternative without the cable. This lock looks like it will fit but I would like confirmation. My rack is attached to a Honda Odyssey minivan.

There is a lock that will work for your Hollywood Racks Sport Rider 2-Bike Carrier # HR1000Z-R, although Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock for 1-1/4" Hitches # HE6033 will not work because it is made for Advantage SportsRack bike racks and is threaded differently.

Instead, you will need the Hollywood Racks Locking Threaded Hitch Pin # HRLHPT, which is a fit for your Sport Rider 2.

Yes, the Hollywood Racks Threaded Hitch Lock for 2" Hitches #HRLHPT is 1/2"-13 TPI.

The compatible lock and anti-rattle device that works with the Twiststep #HE3052 is #HE6033. Companies intentionally will uniquely thread the bolts and weld nuts so they are compatible with each other but rarely anything else.

For your Thule Vertex XT you can use pin #TH62RE. This is the pin part only from the Snug-Tite lock you mentioned. This will allow you to have a regular threaded pin and add the lock later if you wanted.
