Does Kodiak XL ProLube Kit # XLPROLUBE2440KIT Come with Everything Needed to Convert to Oil Bath
Question:
I recently purchased the kodiak disc brake sytem for our fifth wheel rv and wondered about pro lube kit for oil bath bearings instead of grease. It appears the kit comes with new rear seals for the 5200 - 6000# axles is this correct? Is there anything else needed for doing this that isnt explained? Thank you

Is there a reason you want to convert to oil bath? I personally don't like to recommend oil bath over grease as with grease if you have a seal issue you'll be able to get home to fixe it as the grease isn't going to just all pour out whereas with oil if the seal goes out you lose all lubrication and the hub is damaged within a few miles.
That said all you need is the Kodiak XL ProLube Kit for for 5,200-lb to 6,000-lb Axles # XLPROLUBE2440KIT as it comes with everything needed. The seal and the new caps.
Check out the install video I attached as well.
