Can B&W Companion Head from Fixed Hitch be Installed on Slider Base for 2017 Ford F-350  

Question:

Can I take the head off the hitch listed above and place it on a 20K BandW Slider Base to use in short wheel base 2017 F350. I have the complete hitch listed in subject and need the slider for turn in tight places. The model 3000 listed above came with my trailer when I bought it and I dont have any info on it other than the tag on the base that say mod 3000.

Our contacts at B&W have indicated that the heads for all of the Companion hitches are the same. That means you can use the head from a fixed Companion hitch and mount it to the slider base # BWRVB3405. If your 2017 Ford F-350 has the factory prep package with the 4 pucks then you would need # BWRVB3370 instead.

If the truck just has a gooseneck hitch then make sure it is a B&W gooseneck hitch so you can use slider # BWRVB3405. If it is not a B&W gooseneck hitch then there isn't a base that will fit.
