Recommended Tire Pressure for Trailer Tire Even Though Trailer Will Not Have Max Load
Question:
I ordered a pair of AM3s331 replacement tires for my utility trailer. Except for once in 5 years I will never come close to having the maximum weight placed on the tires. I will normally have only 400-500 # on the trailer tires. Would you recommend for air pressure for using with lower weight on tires?

On any trailer tire such as the Kenda # AM3S331 you always want to inflate the tire to the maximum psi, which on this tire is 65. Doing this will give you the best performance, allowing the tire to wear more slowly and give you optimum gas mileage.
