Loadstar ST185/80D13 Bias Trailer Tire # AM3S331 is a bias ply construction whereas the 185/80R13 you have is a radial tire construction. The difference is how the plies run inside the tire. You would want to keep the construction type the same on the trailer for best performance and even tire wear.

In size 185/80-13 we only have bias ply tires. This type is better for rough rounds or gravel but do fine on pavement. Radial tires are best on pavement but will work fine on rough roads or gravel. With a boat trailer you can find yourself on some rough roads so going with bias ply tires wouldn't be a bad idea at all.

For a tire only in size 185/80-13 we have # AM1ST79.
