Troubleshooting Trailer Brake Controller Install that Stopped Battery Charge Circuit
Question:
After installing the Primus proportional braking system on my 2017 F150, I cant get the battery on the trailer to charge, what should I look for?

Expert Reply:
Most likely you blew the fuse for the 12 volt trailer accessory circuit under the hood of your 2017 Ford F-150. You'll want to check there for fuses and relays and replace as needed. That circuit shouldn't be related to the brake controller install at all though so it wouldn't have been affected by a standard brake controller install scenario.
