Best Suspension Enhancement for a Lowered 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 1500

Question:

I own a 2017 Chevy Silverado 1500 2 WD 5.3 6 speed trans and its lowered 6inch in the rear with a flip kit and 4 inches in the front. It also has 20inch wheels and 255/45/20 tires that have a load capacity of 2200lbs per tire. I am buying a travel trailer to live in for a year and will need to move the trailer every two weeks between three RV parks within 30 miles of each other. No hills to climb and nice freeways for travel. Im not sure if an air bag set up will fit between the frame and leaf spring in the rear being its lowered. What do you recommend? I just dont want the rear to sag due to too much tongue weight. I will be buying something like a Jayco Jay flight or Whitehawk 26-28 foot

I have exactly what you need for your 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The Air Lift SlamAir Air Helper Springs part # AL59209 is designed specifically for lowered trucks with an axle flip kit. These air springs will do an excellent job of reducing sag in addition to improving ride comfort. They are made in the U.S.A. and come with a lifetime warranty. It is also the only suspension enhancement we have that will work for you because of the lowering kit you have.

If you would like to add an on-board compressor that will eliminate the need for you to enter and exit the vehicle to fill the bags, I recommend using the Air Lift Load Controller II Compressor System part # AL25592. This kit comes with a compressor, gauge display, inflation valve, and all of the other necessary components to get your truck setup for an on-board compressor.
