Shank Recommendation for Use with Reese Strait Line in 2-1/2 inch Hitch

I have the Reese Strait-Line RP66084 but now have a new truck that sits higher and has a 2.5inch hitch. Can I switch out the shank with Reese RP54977? Thanks,

Yes, the shank part # RP54977 that you referenced would work perfectly for you. It will allow you to swap out the shank you have in your # RP66084 to give you the drop you need and then also fit the 2-1/2 inch hitch you have.
