Troubleshooting Trailer Brake Lights, Running Lights, and Brakes That do Not Function Normally

Question:

I have no brake lights or brakes or running lights. The turn signals both work. The Manuel override on my brake controller dont activate either. Checked my truck to another vehicle and everything worked

If your pickup truck activated all of the 7-Way functions for a different trailer then it really sounds like your connector is bad on your trailer.

You can replace the 7-Way on your trailer using part # PK12706, part # H20046, or part # HS381-9000. Although the first connector should get the job done, if any wiring behind your connector looks damaged then I would go ahead and use one of the latter options.

Since there is a variety of functions that aren't working properly it sounds like the connector but you could just happen to have bad wiring on all of those circuits as well. You can check the wiring on your trailer for any damaged or bent lines if you think your connector is still functional.
