Availability of 1-1/4 Inch Ball Mount for 50mm Hitch Ball with 1 Inch Diameter Shank
Question:
I am purchasing a European built motorcycle trailer and need a 1 1/4inch ball mount that will accommodate a 50mm ball. I have a ball, but it has a 1inch diameter shaft and wont fit the mounts that I have. Im reluctant to scrap it but will if I need to. What do you suggest? Thanks!

I do have a solution for you, however all of our available ball mounts for 1-1/4 inch receivers feature a ball hole diameter of 3/4 inches.
I recommend simply going with a new 50mm hitch ball like the Draw-Tite # 63912, which features a 3/4 inch diameter shank. You can then pair the ball with any 1-1/4 inch ball mount we have available, such as the Curt Class II Drawbar # C45521. This ball mount has a towing capacity of 3,500 pounds and a rise of 2-5/8 inches or a drop of 3-1/4 inches.
I have attached a short video demonstration on this product, along with a link that will take you directly to our available selection of 1-1/4 inch ball mounts that you can look through.
