Recommended Propane Hose that Runs from Regulator to RV

Question:

Hi I would like to replace the propane hose that runs from my regulator to the rv itself the one that’s already there is only about 3ft long but I’m unsure what type of hose I need and does it need to be high pressure or low pressure?? Any input would be greatly appreciated thanks

It sounds like you are just needing a hose assembly like the MB Sturgis Propane Hose # 100383-48-MBS. This 4 foot long hose is designed to connect a 2-stage regulator to the RV's propane system. It features a 3/8 inch Male NPT at one end that will connect to the regulator and then a 1/2 inch Female Flare Swivel that will connect to your RV.

You will just want to verify the type of connection you need on the RV end. Another common connection is a 3/8 inch female flare swivel. If this is what you have, you will instead need the Propane Hose # 100040-48-MBS.

If you are still unsure, please feel free to email me some pictures of your setup and I will be happy to confirm what will work. I have also attached a couple articles on propane that you might find helpful.
