Which Side of the Trailer is the Pivot Bolt Installed On When Using a Fold-Away Coupler
Question:
Im confused on whether it matters if the pivot bolt goes in the forward hole or the furthest back hole. Im guessing the back hole but the directions/pictures have it both ways. Thanks

According to the instructions for the Fulton Fold-Away Coupler Hinge Kit part # FHDPB350101, the pivot bolt is installed on the left hand side of the fold-away and the hinge pin is installed on the right hand side of the fold-away. However, I do not believe it matters. If you wanted the tongue to swing to the left side then you would place the pivot bolt on the left side and vice versa for the right side.
