Not sure if I can mount this under the door of my camper. What are the dimensions of the mounting bracket. Height/length?

I went to our warehouse to measure the mounting bracket for Brophy Camper Scissor Step # SS04.
The mounting bracket has an overall length of 18-1/8-inches. Each side of the V-shaped bracket measures 1-inch. The mounting holes are 5/8-inch diameter and their centers are spaced apart by 5-1/4-inches.
Please note this step unit is not meant for permanent installation; it is intended to be installed upon arrival at your destination and removed prior to continued travel. The bracket mounts permanently.
