Wiring Electric Brakes on Fifth Wheel Trailer

2017 silverado electric brakes fifth wheel check trailer wiring and service trailer brakes signal. all bakes work when we pull break away plug. Blue wire to brakes is buried out of site. Considering using my etrailer purchased wire to hot wire from box under fifth wheel to the blue wire back at the brakes and ground wire to frame at entry to the brake drums. Is it worth a try.

The way you described wiring the electric brakes on your fifth wheel trailer is not only worth a try, it's the way it should be done. If I'm understanding correctly you want to wire from the junction box to the brakes and ground the wire to the frame? That would be the way to do it.
