Parts Needed To Add 4- And 7-Way Trailer Connector Without Splicing For 2002 Ford F-150
Question:
What product has a 7 blade and 4 way flat plug and bypasses splicing wires by plugging directly into the existing rear driver side plug?

Based on your information, I recommend the Tekonsha Ford Replacement OEM Tow Package Wiring Harness, Item # 118242. This item connects directly to your OEM tow package on your 2002 Ford F-150. Because this harness only has a 7-way connector, I recommend adding the Hopkins 7- and 4-Pole Trailer Connector, Item # HM40975, so that you have both options available. Both will work with your 2002 F-150 and no splicing will be required.
If you have a 4-Way connector and would not mind some splicing (a few wires), I recommend the Universal Installation Kit, Item # ETBC7, which gives you everything in one kit.
If you need a brake controller, I recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P3, Item # 90195, with the Plug-In Wiring Adapter, Item # 3035-P. The P3 is very popular with our customers and is easy to use and setup.
