Best Way to Bypass TIPM on 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 Diesel
Question:
2006 Dodge 3500. Trailer plug does not have power to the right side for the trailer. Fuses in the truck engine compartment dont have power but the fuses are good. A plug tester showed no right side power at the plug. The plug is the round connector at the back of the truck below the bumper. Dodge said to replace the pda. I feel there is a better way. Thank you,

Dodge trucks around you era have a weird situation with the trailer wiring fuses/breakers. If the TIPMS of your truck shorts out enough times you have to replace it so the best option is to bypass it.
The best way around the TIPM on your 2006 Dodge Ram 3500 is to bypass it using the Tail Light Converter with 4-Way Flat Trailer Connector, Circuit Tester, and Install Kit # 119178KIT, and the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller, # ETBC7. The # 11978KIT is a top-of-the-line Modulite harness including circuit protection to safeguard itself and the tow vehicle from harmful electrical shorts.
