Brake Controller Recommendation for 2008 Lincoln Navigator
Question:
Hi I have a 08 navigator that I’m looking for a brake controller for. The question is what’s the difference between self leveling and auto leveling? I also have a 2013 f150 that has factory brake controller. I noticed that this truck somehow senses how much brake pedal is being applied and it apply the proportional amount of braking to the trailer. The navigator has the factory 7pin connector and I was wondering if there is a controller for this truck that will operate the same way as my 2013 f150 Thank you

What you are looking for is a proportional brake controller like the Prodigy P3 part # 90195 which senses the level of braking the tow vehicle is applying and then applies the same power to the trailer brakes. Auto or level means that as long as the controller is facing the correct direction it will be good to go. These two terms are interchangeable basically.
To install this controller in your 2008 Lincoln Navigator will only require the install harness part # 3035-P which is a confirmed fit.
