Difference Between Coil SumoSprings for 2014 VW Golf

Question:

Hello, Could you tell me the difference between the CSS-1125R Coil Sumo Springs and the CSS-1145R. Is one stiffer than the other? I will be installing these on a 2014 VW Golf base model. Thank you.

There is just a slight difference in size between the two parts; the Coil SumoSprings # CSS-1125R have a 1.25" inner wall height and are 2.5" tall and 6" in diameter. The Coil SumoSprings # CSS-1145R have a 1.45" inner wall and are 3" tall and 6.5" in diameter.

Each of these springs are a fit for your 2014 VW Golf and though neither is stiffer than the other, they work by becoming stiffer depending on the load. Both products install the same on your Golf's coil springs and will give you an additional 15% - 30% of coil capacity. Please keep in mind that your vehicle's load rating will not increase with the use of these springs.

I have added links to video reviews and installs of both products for you to take a look at.
