Recommended 5th Wheel Hitch for 2017 Ram 2500 Short Bed with Factory Prep Package

Please HELP ME! I have a 2017 Ram 2500 Mega Cab with 6-4 box and factory 5th wheel prep pkg that I would like to pull my 2015 Palomino Puma Model BHSS 295 with a pin box model LIPP1621 GVRW 15500LBS with. Please give me some advise as of what is best - a new pin box with a solid 5th wheel hitch-or a slider hitch or any other options you have. Im new to this any any advise would be helpful.

For your 2017 Ram 2500 with the short bed and factory prep package, I recommend keeping the trailer's pin box as is, and going with the B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider # BWRVK3670.
