Lo Profile Cargo Box Options for a 2006 Toyota Highlander with Factory Roof Rack
Question:
Hi, Im looking for a roof box recommendation for a 2006 Highlander. Ideally, Id love to find one that is under 7foot tall total to fit in most parking garages. The car, with factory rack I have, is 68.7inch tall. I know I can do the Yakima Skybox Lo, but would love more height of possible. Any others? I cant seem to find specs on height from bar to top of box, since most boxes have clamps or areas lowered down below the mounting points. Thanks!

So basically you want to keep the overall height of the 2006 Highlander including the cargo box under 7 feet tall. If the height of the vehicle itself is 5 feet 9 inches tall then that leaves 15 inches to work with.
You could use:
Thule Pulse Alpine, # TH613, at 12-1/2 inches tall
Inno Wedge, # INBRM660BK or # INBRM660WH, at 11 inches tall
Inno Shadow, # INBRA1210BK, at 13-3/8 inches tall
Thule Motion XT Alpine, # TH629506 at 13-1/4 inches tall
Inno Ridge, # INBRA220R-BK, at 13-3/8 inches tall
SportRack Horizon, # SR7016, at 14-11/16 inches tall
These boxes will work regardless of the extra parts of the cargo boxes that dip below the tops of the roof rack crossbars.
