Troubleshooting 2018 Ford F-150 Raptor Off Road Skid Plate Issues with Blue Ox Baseplates
Question:
Trying to install on a 2018 Ford Raptor and the front off road factory skid plate can not be mounted due to the blue ox bracket safety cables being in the way. Is there is different kit for the raptor or is there something that I am missing? Thank you.

The Blue Ox Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # BO74FR is the proper fit for your 2018 Ford Raptor. I reached out to my contact in their tech department and he said that just the 2017 Raptor in the instructions you will only install 2 of the 4 bolts you removed when you took the skid plate off. He said the skid plate may hang slightly lower due to that, but it won't be an issue. He said the safety cables on the brackets may just need to be held up during that installation to keep them out of the way, but they shouldn't further interfere with that installation.
