Spacers to Use Timbren Helper Springs on a 2004 Yukon XL Denali AWD with 3-1/2 Inches of Lift

Question:

I have a 2004 GMC Yukon XL Denali AWD with the factory air ride shocks replaced with standard shocks, Suburban Z71 rear coil springs and a 2 inch lift. The Z71 coil springs additionally lifted the rear of the truck almost an 1 1/2 inches. With the truck on the ground, there is 9 1/2 inches between the top of the bump stop cup closest to frame and the axle. I cant seem to find the length of the GMRG25C stop to figure out how many spacers Ill need. What would be my best setup?

Expert Reply:

The spring itself from Timbren kit # TGMRG25C is 5-1/8 inches tall. There is another part of the assembly but it will sit up inside the bump stop cup. If the overall lift is 3-1/2 inches then you will likely want to get a total of 6 of the 1 inch spacer # TA25723-90AD00.
