Engine Oil & Transmission Cooler Recommendation for 2011 Dodge Durango

Question:

I am a bit concerned about the space to mount the oil cooler with the fan (Durango with the 5.7L has very little space under the hood - Although i dont have a lot of experience here). What about mounting 2 coolers in the front - Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit w/Barb Inlets - Class IV - Efficient Item # D13504 - Derale Stacked-Plate Engine Oil Cooler Kit w/ Sandwich Adapter (Multiple Threads) - Class III Item # D15605 If you have another recommendation that would be awesome. I am just trying to pair up the best coolers that will fit.

The two coolers could easily fit together. Main reason is that the oil cooler kit part # D15450 that you referenced can be remote mounted basically anywhere since it comes with it's own fan.

The transmission cooler part # D13504 would then need to mount in front of the radiator and fit easily.

I think the perfect solution would be a combination cooler that has both a transmission fluid and engine oil cooler built into one. For that check out the # D15902 which will fit and work great. It measures 17" Wide x 12-1/2" tall x 3/4" deep.
