Bike Rack Recommendation for 2014 Lexus IS 250 with Curt Class I Hitch

Question:

Will I be able to use the Yakima Full Tilt 4 bike rack on my class 1 curt hitch? 2014 Lexus is250 sedan.

Class I hitches can't be used with Yakima bike racks as they only fit Class II and up hitches. Also Class I hitches can only carry up to two bikes at a time as any more than that puts too much weight and leverage on the hitch which will potentially damage it.

So with the Curt hitch part # C11389 that you have you'd need to go with a 2 bike rack that is Class I compatible.

If you plan on carrying any womens or alternative framed bikes without horizontal top tubes you may also be interested in purchasing a Kuat Bike Frame Adapter Bar # UB01 to provide a horizontal top tube on your bikes to provide an attachment point. Curt requires the use of their stabilizer strap part # 18050 when using their hitch to carry a non-supported load like a bike rack. I attached a review video for you to check for the strap as well.
