Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver and Towing Setup for 2018 Audi Q3
Question:
You have a video for the install of a 75218 on a 2017 Audi Q5. My 2018 Audi Q3 calls for the same hitch, but the rear facia on mine is a bit different from the car on the video. Do you have any more specific instructions for my car?

We don't have a video of the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75218 on your 2018 Audi Q3. The biggest thing to note is the installation requires the permanent removal of the bumper beam and the hitch will replace that bumper beam for support and safety. It will require trimming your lower fascia. I've attached a photo and the installation details to assist.
If you don't wish to replace your bumper beam, then I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # C13238. This will require the lower fascia trimming and heat shield trimming as well. It also will require stabilization strap # 18050 for any non-trailer load like a bike rack or cargo carrier.
For a wiring harness, I recommend the zero-contact interface that requires no splicing, the ZCI Circuit Protected # 19250KIT. This will install without splicing into your factory wiring.
If you will be towing, I recommend the B&W Tow & Stow 2-Ball Mount # BWTS10035B. This will give you a 2 inch and 1-7/8 inch hitch ball as well as give you adjustability to tow a trailer level by offering the 1 inch height adjustments between a 3 inch drop and 3-1/2 inch rise. This ball mount also offers the ability to hide the ball on the backside when not in use to give you a clean look and save your shins when loading cargo into your trunk. I recommend using a hitch lock like # BX8858 to protect your investment.
Let me know if you have any further questions.
