Do Suspension Bolts Need to be Replaced when Installing the Never Fail Bushings # LC279685
Question:
I have a 2017 Forest River Wildwood 28 DBUD travel trailer with 8,000 miles on it, tamdon axles. It has Lippert suspension and axles. Thinking about upgrading to never fail bushings # LC279685. Will I need only the bushings since it has Lippert components or hardware kit # LC281285?

Expert Reply:
Since you have a 2017 Forest River Wildwood 28 DBUD the bolts used in your suspension should not need to be replaced with the part # LC281285.
Unless for some reason your bolts are damaged and need to be replaced you should be good to use just the Never Fail Bushings # LC279685.
Please note that Never Fail Bushings are meant to be used with standard bolts like part # TRFA73Z916DLNZ as grease will destroy them. You can use the bushings with wet bolts but only if you clean them and make sure they are completely free of any grease.
