Recommended Cargo Box for 2016 Volkswagen Golf With Factory Roof Rack

I have a 2016 vw golf gti with a factory roof rack. Any suggestions for a car box...making sure rear hatch doesn’t hit it when opened?

To determine if there is going to be enough space for you to open the rear hatch of your 2016 VW Golf GTI without making contact with your rooftop cargo box you will need to measure from the center of your Golf's front crossbar to the seam where the roof and hatch meet. You will need to have dimensions longer than the "Front Clearance" column on the attached diagram for there to be no interference between hatch and cargo box.
The Thule Sidekick # TH78GC needs only 36 inches and works with crossbars that have a maximum diameter of 3-3/4 inches and a spread between 23-5/8 inches and 28 inches.
