Does Offset of Kuat Beta Bike Rack # B202-2 Cause Clearance Issue
Question:
I noticed the upright pole of this rack is offset to the right of the shank, and appears to me that an adult bike will extend beyond the width of the vehicle. Has this presented a problem with any of your customers?

Since the upright mast of the Kuat Beta # B202-2 attaches to the side of the shank that slides into the hitch you end up with the bike rack offset to the passenger side by a couple inches. It's never been enough of an offset to cause an issue with our customers.
As long as you are trying to carry a long tandem rack or recumbent (not recommended with this rack anyway) you'd be just fine.
