Proper Tire Pressure on Kenda Karrier ST 225/75 R15 Load Range E Tire

Question:

I have four Kenda Karrier ST 225/75 R15 load range E tires on my 30foot Airstream, which has a GVWR of 8,300 LBS. What is the correct PSI for the tires to be inflated to? I have read conflicting comments anywhere from 65 PSI to 80 PSI. The information on the sidewall of the tire, is not clear, and confusing, advising a referral to the manual, which I did not receive on purchase. Your assistance is appreciated.

The 225/75-15 Kenda Karriers with a Load Range of E are part # AM10303. I went out to our warehouse and verified the tire's maximum psi is 80 and has a maximum weight capacity of 2,830 pounds.

Special traier (ST) tires should always be inflated to the maximum air pressure. If it's inflated to a higher or lower psi the maximum capacity of the tire is unknown because it won't perform as it's designed which will cause uneven wear, excessive heat, and eventually failure. You also want to always inflate the tires when they're cold.
