Possible Trailer Hitch Solution for 2004 Chevy Box Truck
Question:
Hello, I am looking for a trailer hitch for a 2004 chevy express box truck. Which vehicle should i when searching for a hitch? I assume the box truck frame is different than the traditional express van? Thanks for your help.

I spoke to my contacts at Curt and Reese and the only styles of hitches that can be made to fit a box-truck body like yours are multi-fit RV hitches like the # 41990 that has a 16k capacity. This is a weld on hitch that would require either the 7 inch drop brackets part # 4907 or the 16 inch brackets part # 4916.
