Will Curt E16 Fifth Wheel Hitch Fit Husky Base Rails on 2001 Ford F-250?

Question:

Hi! So I have a situation. I have a e16 curt hitch and rails I just got installed last year on a 2004 ford 150 8 ft bed and I did not have the power to pull my new 5th wheel. So Bought another truck So the new truck is a 2001 f250 diesel 7.2 8 ft bed. I can see where there was rails there but some one removed the rails the bolts where the rails were is 22 1/4 inches apart front to back and 41.5 inches between wheel wells I took pictures of the brackets under the truck and they look like from husky 5th wheel hitch. So can my rails work from the curt hitch? and will the hitch connected. Or can I just buy the rails? Or what are my options without spending lots of money. Also the bolts on curt hitch are big and the bolts on the bed new truck are small. I am sending pictures

Your Curt E16 # C16115 will fit industry standard rails which are 22 inches apart like those from Husky. I am unsure of the model of rails you already have, but the correct Curt rails for your 2001 Ford F-250 Super Duty are # C16443-204, which are different than the # C16300-204 and # # C16441-204 rails that fit a 2004 F-150.

I've added a link to a video review of these rails for you to take a look at.
