Installation of Fastway Weight Distribution Hitch
Question:
I have the E2 710 w/ D hitch for my camper . Noticed its harder to get the bar on and off on the passenger side than the other . Also noticed that where the bar sits on the plate on the trailer , its wearing more on the front than evenly across.

It sounds like you are referring to a Fastway weight distribution hitch like system # FA94-00-0800 which is rated for trailers with loaded tongue weight (TW) of 400- to 800-lbs.
It is not unusual for the first spring bar to be easier to install than the second. You can make this process easier by jacking up the trailer tongue (while it is hitched to the tow vehicle). This lowers the tension on the setup. This lets you install the bars and then lower the trailer.
If you are concerned about uneven wear on your spring bars I suggest checking the installation by reviewing the whole process as described in your system's instructions.
