Wiring Installation for the HydraStar Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator for Disc Brakes # HBA16
Question:
How do I run the 25 to 40 amp circuit to my plug in on my 05 Dodge Ram 3500 truck? Does the wiring I have enough amps to run the Hydrastar 1600. If not where does the black wire on the plug in located on the plug. I have one hot wire at the top, first line on the right.

If you have 12V power to the pin in the 1 o'clock position on your 7-Way (see attached picture) then that is all that is needed to supply power to the HydraStar Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator for Disc Brakes # HBA16. You will need a fully functioning 7-Way on your 2005 Dodge Ram 3500 so that you can utilize a brake controller, like part 90195, to activate the HydraStar. If you check out the attached photo you can see that the brake controller signal will show up on the pin in the 5 o'clock position on your 7-Way.
To install the HydraStar you will need to configure the wiring as follows:
Black: 12-volt power
Blue: brake controller
Yellow: breakaway
White: ground
