At the rear of a trailer or RV the ride quality is very rough when compared to the ride quality at the rear of a passenger vehicle. Reason being the suspension isn't as sophisticated and there is a longer distance between the rear axle and the rear of the trailer which exaggerates the movement of the trailer when hitting bumps. Because of that only a few bike racks were designed to be reinforced enough for that type of use.

The Swagman Dispatch part # S44FR is a great RV approved bike rack that would work well for you. We would highly recommend it for your application.

We have the # RM-077-4 which has a towing capacity of 10,000 lbs and is designed for use in flat towing setups in case you need the higher hitch opening for the bike rack.

I'd recommend the Swagman E-Spec # S94FR. This is a reinforced bike rack that would work great at the rear of your CR-V. It will only touch your bikes at the tires too which protects their finish.
