Recommended Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System for a 7,500 lb Travel Trailer

Question:

I am ready to order an Equalizer Hitch, and I am uncertain about which size I should get, based on the following: Vehicle: 2015 Ford F-150 4x4 supercrew ecoboost 16900 gvwr. 36 gal fuel tank Travel Trailer: 7500#. Loaded Tongue weight measured with Shurline scale: 1050# It seems to me that I am in between needing a 10k and 12k Hitch based on tongue weight. I don’t do a lot of towing, maybe 3-5 times a year. Would appreciate your recommendation.

A weight distribution system will need to be based off of the total tongue weight (TTW) of your loaded ready to tow trailer plus any weight stored behind the rear axle of the tow vehcile. If the 1,050 lb tongue weight rating you provided is correct then the proper system for you would be the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System w/ 4-Point Sway Control part # EQ37120ET which is rated for 800-1,200 lbs of tongue weight.

I have attached a review video of the above system for you as well.
