I took a look at the online owner's manual for your 2017 Acura MDX and it stated that you should only use snow chains on the front tires. It also stated that because of the limited wheel well clearance on the vehicle, cable type chains are recommended.

We have a couple tire sizes listed that are typically on your 2017 Acura MDX. You will want to confirm the size of your tires by checking the sidewall of the tire itself. If you have 245/50-20 size tires, I recommend the Titan Chain Cable Snow Tire Chains # TC3010. These ladder-pattern cable chains feature low-carbon steel rollers to provide good traction in the snow. They are Class S compatible, meaning they are specifically designed for vehicles like yours that have limited clearance to work with. I have attached an installation video on your 2017 Acura MDX that you can use for reference.

If you instead have 245/60-18 size tires, you will just want the Titan Chain Cable Snow Tire Chains # TC2029.

If you happen to have a different tire size than what I mentioned, please let me know and I will be happy to make a different recommendation or confirm if one of the above two sets will work. I also recommend checking your copy of the owner's manual for any additional guidelines or restrictions, as it's possible that you have a different model vehicle. I have attached an article on tire chains that you might also find helpful.
