Custom 5th Wheel Install Kit for 2017 Silverado 2500 Short Bed

Question:

will my old Pro series slider 16k fit these rails and how hard is it to install them. I have a 17 Silverado 2500 short bed.

Yes, any industry-standard 5th wheel base rail will work with your Pro Series 16K or any other brand and type of industry-standard 5th wheel hitch. Since this kit is a universal type it can be installed in pretty much any truck.

But since this kit is made to be suitable for many vehicles its installation time will be longer than that for one of our custom kits that is made for a specific truck.

For your 2017 Silverado 2500 we have custom-fit kits that are easier to install because they require less drilling. No frame drilling is needed at all since these kits use existing holes in the truck's frame.

For your 2500 short bed without the factory rail kit I recommend the Curt custom install kit # C16411-204. This will work with any brand of industry-standard hitch, including your Pro Series Slider. For a wiring harness in the bed use part # C56000.
