Could I Use a Curt Dual Reciever # D-192 to Flat Tow a 2005 Pontiac Vibe and Carry a Bike Rack
Question:
I am towing a 2005 Pontiac Vibe which I believe is under the 3500 # gross weight limit for this adapter. I tow with a Blue Ox tow bar. I believe the actual tongue weight to be minimal. Can I use the top adapter to carry 100 pounds ob bikes? Thanks.

I did a little research and found that based on various options your 2005 Pontiac Vibe will weigh around 2,700 lbs, which is much less than the 3,500 lb limit of this Curt Dual Reciever # D-192.
Also, you are correct, when using a tow bar there will be a minimal amount of tongue weight on the hitch. And, based on the fact that you will only have 100 lbs in bikes and bike rack on the top receiver you should be good in that regard.
