Will Ultra-Fab Deluxe Electric Landing Gear Work as Replacement on 2009 Keystone Trailer
Question:
Hello, My landing gear shredded the gear box. I replaced that last night and my landing gear stops well before it is high enough to back my truck under. I currently have the standard landing gear installed, however, I would like to try the landing gear with individual motors. Will the Ultra Fab 12,000 lb rated landing gear work? My 40foot Fuzion is rated at 17,500 GVW. Please let me know if this is compatible and will work. Thx

If you are looking to replace your existing landing gear, the Ultra-Fab Deluxe Electric Landing Gear Set # UF17-943010 referenced in your question should work great on your 2009 Keystone Trailer. As you referenced in your question, this pair of electric jacks features powerful, 12-volt motors that will function independently of one another for simple and effective leveling. The 12,000 pound weight capacity is more than enough for the weight of the trailer.
I have attached an image that will help you determine if this will weld onto the existing brackets you have on the trailer. Otherwise, the current brackets can simply be removed and the included brackets welded to the trailer so the landing gear will fit.
I have attached the written installation instructions along with a short video demonstration on this system that you can also check out.
