It is my understanding that this Draw-Tite hitch will fit my GLX Turbo, since it does not have the lower ground effects of the Turbo S. Is this correct? Will it fit? Thank you.

You are correct, this Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch # 24679 will work on your 2004 Volkswagen Beetle GLX. The only model this hitch will not work on is the Turbo S and since that is not what you have you should be good.
