Recommended All-Climate Storage Cover for 2018 Lance 1985 Model Trailer

Question:

we are rookies looking for an all weather cover for our 2018 Lance Model 1985 trailer, which is our first trailer. I have seen covers that cover just the boxfoot and others that cover the propane tanks and entire tongue. We are in southern Calif and experience high heat and high winds, so I think covering the boxfoot is the safest way to go. So we dont assume, please provide the best way to measure a cover to meet our needs. Do your covers have openings for the door on the side? Our door is about 1/3 of the way from the front. Your thoughts? What is the proper way to measure

Your 2018 Lance Model 1985 trailer is listed online as 23 feet 3 inches long and 96-3/4 inches wide. The covers do not normally cover the propane tanks or the tongue itself. I recommend the Adco Olefin RV Cover for Travel Trailers - All-Climate + Wind for trailers up to 24' Long # AD67ZR. This cover has an Olefin top and polypropylene sides. It has a cinching system to remove slack and keep the cover from billowing. It is water resistant and breathable.

If you want to cover your propane tanks, I see that you have two 5 gallon (or 20 lb) tanks. For this, I recommend the Camco RV Polyethylene Propane Tank Cover for (2) 20-lb or 30-lb Steel Tanks - Colonial White
Item # CAM40532 of the Classic Accessories RV Tank Storage Cover - Double 20-5 Gallon - Gray # CA80099 if you prefer fabric.

I've attached an article to assist in measuring and determining the best fit.
