Troubleshooting Pin Box Contact with Truck Bed Rails with Companion Hitch Adjusted to Highest
Question:
I have a B and W companion model 3000 and the top of the receiver seems like it sets to low in the truck bed. The king pin box makes contact with the sides of my truck when at a sharp turn and I have it mounted as high as the bolts will go. Help.

Since you have your B&W Companion model 3000 like # BWRVK3500 up to its highest setting, the only thing you can do is adjust your pin box to account for the additional height needed. If it is already adjusted all the way down, then we can look at replacement options. To do this, we would need to know what your current pin box number is and that is normally printed on a sticker on your actual pin box.
