Could B and W Companion Base for Flat Bed Hitch Fit Regular Bed Truck

Question:

Can I use the flatbed base in a truck that has a bed? My 40ft flatbed trailer utilized a kingpin instead of a ball and utilizing my normal bed base keeps a up angle on my trailer neck even at its lowest setting . The flatbed base will lower the angle and let the trailer ride level

If you have a Companion hitch head already it will bolt up to the # BWRVB3055 and will work if you have a B and W Turnoverball gooseneck hitch installed as well on the truck. You should note that you have to have at least 6 inches between the bed rails of your truck and the fifth wheel hitch overhang at all times so while this might lower the trailer it might make it to close to the bed rails and cause an interference issue.
