Availability of Replacement Rubber Bumper for a Pro Series 16K 5th Wheel Slider Trailer Hitch
Question:
I have a Pro Series 16000 slider I think it is #30098. Will these bumpers fit, and what is the proper placement of the bumpers. It came with two, but here are four holes ready for bumpers. Should the bumpers both be in the front, the back, or one of each? Thanks for nay help or guidance.

Expert Reply:
The rubber bumpers on the head of a 5th wheel trailer hitch like the Pro Series 16k, # PS30096, are designed to prevent and/or limit contact between components on the hitch. You can install 2 more but really only 2 are needed. Adding 2 more can limit the maneuverability of the head. They are normally placed in the holes towards the rear of the truck because the head has a tendency to want to tilt that way. Kit # 58089 will fit your hitch.
