Do Trailer Hitch Receivers for 2017 Chevrolet Trax Include a Wiring Harness
Question:
Does the receiver hitch that fit my 2017 Chevy Trax include the specific wiring harness necessary?

We do have a trailer hitch receiver to fit your 2017 Chevrolet Trax, a Curt # C11527. This hitch does not include a wiring harness.
As of right now we only carry one wiring harness for your Trax, the Tekonsha # 118751. It plugs into a factory connector that's in your rear cargo area under the floor cover and some interior paneling. Then you'll need to run a wire to the Trax's battery through the included fuse holder. The fuse is included as well. This harness will work with either hitch.
You will need a ball mount # C45520 and a pin and clip # PC2 to go with your Curt hitch.
The ball mount # C45520 will fit hitch balls with a 3/4 inch shank. Use # C40018 for a 2 inch ball or # C40001 for a 1-7/8 inch ball. The proper size is whichever fits your trailer's coupler.
